2009 Chrysler 300C key turns on, all bells, lights and whistles work but car will not start. Will not even engage starter. What is the problem.

I had a similar issue and the problem turned out to be my key. The transponder in the key had broken off and was rattling around. All the other components, lights, radio, etc. continued to work. Can you try another key? Maybe take the key to the dealer and ask them to check it or get another key programmed by them.
