Add some Lucas Engine Oil Stablizer to oil. Do not over fill removing same amount of oil as on the bottle of Lucas.

You are most likely hearing a sticky lifter. It will certainly follow the engine RPM. It may or may not clear up with the oil stabilizer, do give it a try. It may also go away on its own. There are several different treatments you can try as oil additives, Marvel Mystery Oil, (which is very thin) STP (which is thick). Hopefully something will work for you!

Ok guys I just found out there was no oil in my car. I hope it disn't mess anything major up but like I said it was a very light tick i had an engine blow up on me before and its not a knock could the no oil could have caused the ticking?
