Sometimes it written on the oddest places, but what the dealer will do is fetch it from ECU or I guess Ford calls it PCM , same thing. The factory default code is stored in there and with that you can make your own code

Only other info I could find is: open rear hatch, you will see a small white sticker with numbers on it ...and if you bought it new, and/or have the wallet card that was attached to owners manual, the default code is on that.

Thanks for all your help but we can't find anything. The manual is saying it's on the computer module....but it doesn't show where the computer module is in my Explorer.

This is it but there is no perspective, no explanation on where..? Sorry man, no help. All I could find

GRRRR!! Looked everywhere! Can't find it! Thanks dude for all your help!
