Hey i have an 05 escape and im removing the steps from each side. theres a support on the rear left hand side of the car with a very stubborn bolt. im just wondering the best way to get it out of there and if using heat would be a good option? right near the gas tank so I havent tried it out of fear of blowing up

Other options are Liquid Wrench and a breaker bar, impact gun if you don't want to use heat.
