I have 2009 grand carvan and my middle passenger window won't close from front or back. Please help me what can I do to fix it. I already went to one mechanic he tried new motor but didn't work. I don't want to go to dealership because it will cost alot. Thanks
is it trying to move? or just kaput? we could check the fuses, but if it's groaning, am going to have to suspect a relay~
the relay box---let us look to see if we can find the right one~~
got to investigate whether or not 'accessory relay' is the culprit~
Where is relay switch
But other windows work fine
It doesn't move
check the wires in the door track have seen many become dislodged and get caught in the tracks and will tear up some wires.
thanks kbro, was getting ready to put a relay on the operating table~
does the motor hum....does it have a blown fuse?
Not saying thats what it is but i have seen it a few times
No motor doesn't make noise
kids with sticky grape candy, gets into the tracks~
No fuses are good
think you may have to put on the hat of courage, Rakesh1969, and begin dis-assembly...you'll need a phillips screwdriver and a long knife to separate the hardboard from the steel~
see if I can get a better take on/deeper understanding of your control relays~
Please let me know
working Rakesh....that looks like the front controls~ closin' in on it~
You are in over your head. You have door modules that control the windows which are on the CAN network you could have a number of things wrong here and needs to be check with a multimeter and a knowledge of how all the circuits work.
if I could find a reliable schematic...looking...
here is the full schematic
have to knuckle down and take it apart, look for components jamming or broken plastic...I'm chasin' the goose here~...thanks kbro~
Welcome judge. Chryslers are electrical nightmares.
