FRONT door locks sticking and now mostly not responding.
Difficult to push the knobs down unless I push the power lock (inside the car or with the remote) repeatedly. They don't pop up reliably. Has been happening infrequently on alternating sides for months and now both practically unusable. What do you suggest for me to troubleshoot which part I need to replace? Actuator? Switch? Other? Is there a diagram of how to remove the door panel? Side and rear doors work fine. Thank you!
I'd try lubing the lock linkages, inside the door, first with white lithium grease. If that doesn't free them up I'd replace the actuators. HTH. -Jim
Thanks Mark, I will try that. Is there a diagram for removing the door panels?
You're welcome. Glad to help. You can try your local Chrysler Dealer's service department. They may be willing to give you a photocopy from their shop manual. HTH. - Jim
