2009 Town and Country

Asked by Oscarfawn May 13, 2020 at 10:02 PM about the 2009 Chrysler Town & Country Touring FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2009 Town and Country. Last night is when
it started. I was inside and my granddaughter runs
in and says my van is running. Needless to say my
keys were hanging up inside the house. It was
running without a key. Then it happened again
tonight. What could be the problem?

Oh, I love this. Definitely want to hear the solution when you find it.

Sounds like remote start is installed - had similar problem with ours when lock button pressed a second time "to be sure"; that is how remote start is initiated. Look under hood to see remote start warnings, that will confirm installed. My dealer didn't know it was installed and never looked.
