i have a 2009 cadillac dts limousine everytime i turn the vehicle on i do not get any rpm. what could be the cause?
When i turn the vehicle on the rpm do not comes up right away. only when i drive for a while that the rpm catches up and resumes at normal?
Could be a bad stepper motor in the instrument cluster. If that's the case the cluster assembly will need to be replaced. On a late model, high end, car such as yours I'd recommend letting your local Cadillac Dealer diagnose the problem. Especially since it most likely is an electrical problem. Then you can decide if it's something you want to fix yourself or if you want them to handle the repair. HTH. -Jim
