Large amount of travel in brake pedal before engaging

Asked by Jul 08, 2016 at 12:55 PM about the 2009 Kia Borrego EX V6

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Have any of your experts experience a large amount of travel with the brake
pedal (more than have the length of the pedal movement) I have had the
vehicle for over five years and have tried to have it address with no luck.  If it
were a sixty's or seventy's vehicle I would figure it was a problem with the
master cylinder but have been told it was ok.  Although it was a dealer?

Have wheel bearing inspected. Loose or bad wheel bearing can cause your problem.
