Question type: Maintenance & Repair

epc light on and off , car loss power and missing.

1 Answer

EPC means Electronic Power (Or Powertrain) Control, or Drive-by-wire system. You car does not have mechanical throttle linkage, is controlled by an electronic device. It's much more complex but can be compared to a potentiometer or rheostat, the more you push the pedal the more throttle it gets. Something is wrong with that and it's not a DIY thing. You need a dealer or VW mechanic
