Traveling around the US, best towing vehicle for 5000-8000 lbs travel trailer
Hi. I would like to get some opinions on the best used vehicle to tow a travel trailer that
might weigh between 5000 and 8000 lbs. I have heard concerns about the Suburban
1500 tranny going bad, and I think the same might be true for the Toyota Sequoia. We
are planning to be on the road for a year. Any thoughts?
If you can find one, a early FORD Excursion with the 7.3 diesel. They are bullet proof. Comfortable. Safe. Easy to work on. You can burn lot's of different kinds of oils as fuel. And when you are done with it, you can get most if not all of your money back.
