2009 GMC Acadia when turn key lights come on, no start

My j2009 GMC Acadia won't start when turning ignition key. Lights come on but
no start.

CHECK YOUR STARTER FIRST...the backyard mechanic

Try starting it in neutral. If it starts your neutral safety switch is bad! Hope that helps! Jim
