2005 Ford Escape Limited
Illumination of the cruise control buttons on steering wheel does not work - is this a fuse problem and which one would it be?
as long as the CC works dont worrie about it,if just the lights are out,no fuse for them, eather a wire has come off causeing them not to burn or the bulbs are blown.
Wait...I have a 2005 Ford Escape Limited. There are no illuminated cruise control buttons on my steering wheel. There never were any, even when I bought it new. The buttons are just buttons. Do anyone's steering wheel buttons actually light up?
Mine don't light up either. I don't think they ever did.
some vehicles have a ill light to let you know when the cc is on,some dont on steering wheel, but it should be a cc light in the cluster that is on when cc is enguadged.
Yes, my 2005 Escape Limited has a green indicator light on the right of the dashboard cluster that illuminates when cruise control is engaged. It goes out when you step on the brake or turn off cruise control. It re-illuminates if you it the 'resume' button after hitting the brake. The green indicator light looks like a mini speedometer with an arrow on it.
