I don't have bad credit or good credit I never had credit,I do have a job and I been on my job for 8 months I do need a car can I go to a dealer to finance a car and how much would I need to put down on the car?

You are not going to get a 2009 Cadillac CTS in your situation, that a $25,000 car. Unless you have a co-signer with good credit. Or $15,000 down. With a co-signer, maybe $4,000 down, somewhere in that area. No credit is not as bad as bad, a 500 score. But being on the same job for 8 months is a big plus for you. Also depends on your income.

Banks typically look for 20-30% down. If you're a recent (college) graduate, you can get a low interest loan. There are other factors that may help you. But credit is very much dependent on you and your creditors. You should establish a relationship (start with setting up savings and checking accounts) with a good creditor, such as a credit union. That could help immensely.
