How much of a price reduction would result for a 2009 Ford Flex that was in an accident?

Asked by Charm97 Oct 30, 2014 at 03:16 AM about the 2009 Ford Flex Limited AWD

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

This Ford Flex was hit on the side of the front end,  bumper ripped off, some damage
under the hood but fully repaired by a very reputable shop with all new parts.  The vehicle
runs find, no trouble with it.  Otherwise in perfect condition. How will this affect the value?
I may be looking to sell it privately.

It's going to show up on car fax so 20%-35% is reasonable. However, it's all subjective to the buyer.

I bought a 2010 Flex Limited AWD recently that had been in a collision. Had the vehicle inspected and was told the quality of work was top notch and the vehicle was safe. I was able to increase my negotiating position and lowered the asking price by another 1500. Total I got it for about 7500 below kbb value.
