Yes. The Pursuit stock size is 205/50-17. You can use 205/55-16.

Can i put 16 inch rims on my 2007 torrant that already has 17 inch on it? I just got done putting the 16s on our 2007 torrant and my tire monitor light come on. What's the deal with this?

The tire pressure monitor probably came on because you no longer have pressure sensors in the new wheels.
