What is do after having this issue is make sure the drivers door is the last door to close after the engine has stopped. If for some reason I have to reopen a door because I have forgotten something in it, I restart it to make sure the drivers door is the last door to close once the engine stops.. I.know it sounds crazy, but I have not had a drained battery now in a long time.
