Anybody have a p2135 code?

Asked by May 28, 2015 at 10:53 AM about the 2009 Hyundai Sonata Limited FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

While driving 60-70 mph the check engine and ESC off lights came on and car lost power.
I will only go about 15 mph.  Have had if to a dealer several times and they cannot
duplicate the problem.  Got it to Pep Boys one evening and they got that code plus p1295
and p2106.  Took it back to the dealer with the codes and they still say they can't
duplicate the problem.  Car has less than 50,000 miles on it.

It doesn't matter if they can duplicate the loss in power. That's moot. There is a fault in the EPS Electronic throttle which ties right in with the P1235. Even if it runs fine when they test-drive it does not mean the problem does not still exist in the Electronic Throttle and/or TPS. The P2016 is just showing what you already know.
