That is the Tire Pressure Monitor System. You have a low tire, check the drivers door latch area for the tire pressure sticker then adjust tire pressure accordingly. Tire pressures tend to go low in cold weather. Take care.
The light will go out after you fill the tires then drive it for a few miles.
Both the above are correct assuming that the sensors are all fully operational, as you vehicle is a 08 the sensors normal life span is 8 to 10 years, your rig is close to 13 years old depending on the build date. So don't be surprised if after checking the tire pressures and filling to specs that the light stays on. It means it time for new TPMS sensors.
told by the Kia service that the TPMS sensor will go on because of cell towers. Mine does it all the time. Had it replaced and on the way home it went on and off again. Just one of the stupid stuff that Kia puts in there cars.
