It is possible that the new clutch is bad, just because it is new doesn't mean it is a good one. Is you fan clutch a standard one or is it an electric one?

Standard

Ok then after you first start the engine do you hear the roar then it starts to quiet down, if it doesn't quiet down then the new unit is faulty.

Then I would say that the internal heat sensing coil is set correctly, call the place you got it from tell them what it is doing and that you want another one. Make sure they have the correct year, make, model and engine size.

ok will do today, thanks

ok, so I went to return the 60 dollar clutch and the parts guy told me that i had to try another clutch. I installed another after market one and WOW. much improvement. Noise is still there but come and goes. ( might need to try one more time) . It has always made the loud noise when I first start truck and still does. Warmed up is hit and miss. Call me a crazy cajun, but mabye I'm just noticing it more, either way the noise is not anywhere close to what it was. I will still do the E-fan mod b/c i want the horse power. Also, picking up a 180 T stat today. next will work on modding the shift schedule. seem to be locked out or something.
