Trouble with iac sensor after cleaning up!!

Hi, i cleaned up my iac sensor but now when i set the first gear it start´s to gain rpm till
2000 even when i am in neutral but when i hit the break and the cars almost stops the
revs goes down to 800 to 1000 thats ok but what concerns me, what gives me trouble
its that the car feel acelerate, always at 2000 rpm, its the car acelerate y theres a way
to reset the iac i disconect the negative bourne of the battery about 1 hour after the iac
conected, and nothing any ideas plz!!!??? its a honda civic 1996!!

the pintle thingy that sticks out of the iac has to stick out the right amount. if you took it off you could have misadjusted it. look in a Haynes or Chilton manual and see if you have to do anything to that iac before reinstalling.
