how to fix 'recessed' buttons on 2008 kia sedona overead console
The buttons on my 2008 are now recessed, like a clip has broken. The rear sliding door button was pushed and the whole button assembly was 'sunk' into the console. The buttons are for the power an sliding door functions. I think the console plate needs to be removed and maybe a clip replaced.
Yes, they break $135+ tax for a replacement overhead some have the compass too.
You could take it apart and possible use an epoxy (JB Weld or similar) and repair the broken part or spend the money and buy a new part.
This is helpful, but how to safely remove and reinstall. Are the parts dealer supplied? Or can they be obtained from online suppliers?
Pretty sure the parts are dealer only.
