I bought my 2008 chevy LTZ used, it has a 6.0 gas motor, 6 lug bolt pattern, does that mean its a HD with the 2500 frame?
Could be. But to find out for sure take your vehicle identification number to the parts counter of your local Chevy Dealer. They can de-code it and tell you for sure exactly what you have. HTH. -Jim
I believe it is a Light Duty 2500. Here is a link for you, gives pretty much all the differences between a 2500 and 2500 HD. http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/26625-what-is-the-difference-2500-vs-2500hd/?hl=2500+vs\.+2500HD
You didn't say if the truck you bought was a 2500 or 1500...Sounds like you have a 1500 with 6 lugs, which is pretty much standard now days and not with a 2500 frame.
