Where is temperature sending unit on 2008 Dakota?

Asked by Andrea Jan 08, 2021 at 11:52 PM about the 2008 Dodge Dakota SXT Crew Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2008 Dodge Dakota.   The engine temp gauge is not reading, but the
truck is not overheating.  I was wondering if anyone can tell me where the
temperature sending unit is
located on the engine.  It has a 4.7L V8 and is a 4X4.
