Should not be too hard once you get the door panel off, it is serviced in the whole latch assembly

I replaced the switch, and no change. A bump or left turn turns on the chime and door ajar light. Hard right turn, especially with a bump, and it goes out. Must be a ground fault, or short somewhere. How to find it???

It is a 2006 Ford Ranger Extended cab FX4 4/0.L
