Where is the break fluid level sensor located on a 2008 ford f150 v6

Break icon flashes on and off even if fluid reservoir is full and breaks are fine was told
break fluid sensor needed replacing.

Only two things can turn on the Red Brake Light: The parking brake or low fluid in the reservoir. The fluid level sensor is actually in and below the reservoir. There's a float inside and a magnetic switch under the housing. You can unplug it to see if your problem goes away. For grins, pull on your parking brake release handle while trying to raise the pedal with your foot. Sometimes the actuator sticks, a spring is missing or the cable is loose and needs adjusting.
