How can I get a dealer to return a Good Faith Deposit

I sent a dealer a deposit in good faith, drove 12 hours only to find the dealer
did not disclose all the details about the car, and to top it off, he would not
accept a check!  Now he tells me he will not return my deposit, that I sent
only 24 hours prior through cash app, and he did not tell me it would be non
refundable.  
He also showed me a list of people he had that wanted the car, yet will not
return my money.  What do I do?
