2008 Chrysler 300 overheating

My car overheats when i turn the AC on. The fans
dont come on at all . when i turn the heat on
temperature gauges drop back to normal level.
What could be the problem

If your coolant level is good, the problem could be the thermostat.

Yeah coolant level is good havent lost any fluids. So your saying if the thermostat is bad it would cause the fans to not turn on?

Sorry. I misunderstood that. You need to check your fuses, relays, and wiring to your fan. I might be wrong on this but running the AC, the compressor contributes heat to your engine and running the heat pulls heat from your engine.

The fans would come on if all fuses, relays, and temp sensor is good, usually when the factory T- Stat goes bad they will fail in the open position there called Fail-Safe t stats allows coolant to still circle into the water jacket, but you won't have heay
