Honda dealer replaced PS pump...still noisy

My 2008 Honda CR-V started making an awful squealing noise when
accelerating. It got so bad that it did it constantly, even while stopped after
driving about 10 minutes. I took it to the Honda dealer and they diagnosed
that the power steering pump had gone bad, so they replaced it for $545.
Driving out of the mechanic, it was better, but still making noise. So I took it
back and now they say they've gotten yet another power steering pump
from the parts place and installed it and the noise is even worse.

The manager said  they were going to contact the main Honda Division to
see how to proceed, but he wasn't very confident in fixing it since it was "8
years out of warranty."

I have just never heard of not being able to get a working part that would
solve a problem! Is there no solution to this?

It happens all the time, the quality of parts even OEM's has been steadily going down hill and the prices going up, cause for every three they make they have to eat 2 of them, once i replace an alternator 5 times before I got one that worked, I've had as many as 3 power steering pumps that either failed right out of the box or started making noise right after the roadtest. Just stick with them they will get a good one eventually, fortunately your at a dealer and now it is all his problem cause you have already paid for the parts and labor now his parts warranty has to kick in.

So is the deal responsible for installing a part until they find a good one?
