2008 toyota prius charging system

Asked by Jun 16, 2017 at 04:52 PM about the 2008 Toyota Prius Base

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hello on my 2008 toyota prius i noticed that the car wouldent start. I figured
that this was due to the 12v battery so I went and checked its voltage and it
was low so i bought a new one. A few weeks later the new battery also had
low voltage so I checked for parasitic draw and there was none. I was later
told it was the charging system which is inside the hybrid inverter... what
should I do

There is a DC/DC converter fuse and plug. Make sure that the white plug by the positive lead on the 12v battery is in all the way. Also check the fuse next to it.
