My Odometer reads error
...yes well they did not tend to the chassis ground....you must tend to the chassis ground....The black cable ends at a spot that connects to the ground there...this one corrodes up through repeated high amperage starts...what you must do is un-bolt this lug and wirebrush it shiny by holding onto it with a pliers....wirebrush the spot that connects there...bolt them together for renewed ground potential~ your vehicle speed sensor and display will come back to normal~
I have the exact same problem. Did this work for you? Also. I disconnected the battery. But can't find the chassis ground. I seems to be under the battery stand and I cannot follow the wire to the chassis. Any help?
