Code 446

Asked by Jul 20, 2015 at 10:26 AM about the 2008 Pontiac G6 GT Coupe

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I had my codes pulled and got 446 and 451.  Had the vent selonid and sensor both replaced along with the gas cap.  Disconnected battery cable to reset and it stayed off for 500 miles then came on again and now is pulling 446 again.  Suggestions? Ideas?

It is possible that there is a very small crack or chafe in one of the vacuum lines in the purge system or a burr on the fuel filler tube where the cap seals. It might be a good idea to check the purge sensor ground and wiring.
