My cruise control on my 08 G6 isn't working. The light on the steering wheel comes on but not the little speedometer in the dash. It came on yesterday for the first time, not since than.

check and make sure your fuse for cruise isn't blown for some reason. If that's not the case and your cruise control isn't engaging....Then it may be that whole "brake light connection" problem that I hear a lot of pontiacs been having. You brake light lamp would malfunction so the cruise control thinks your are braking and it automatically disengages.

Recall for many 08 for brake light issues. This also controls the cruise control.
