What's wrong with my car

Asked by Tassie14 Aug 31, 2020 at 10:48 PM about the 2008 Chevrolet Trailblazer 2LT 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 08 trailblazer LT 4wd wit a mind of its own.
Ok so if I put the car in reverse both turn signals
come on. If my head lights are on my left turn
signal stays light up (not blinking jus lit) and if I try
to use it to turn the car will die and completely shut
off.. it will crank back up...but I also have a
problem with that. When I crank the car it acts like
it's out of gas and it struggles to crank shaking and
all once it's started it shakes and kinda putt putt
likes it's running out of gas.. it won't actually cut off
(unless I use the wrong light) but it feels like it. Oh
and last but not least my temputure gage only
works sometimes and If it decides not work my ac
won't either. But if the gage works the ac works..
it's never ran hot. I changed every light bulbs Yu
can think of and a few fuses but idk what else to
do. HELP ME any info is appreciated

Clean this ground very good, shine up the bolt. Known problem. If it were me, I'd replace the ignition switch ALSO. This ground handles fuel pump relay, and the left turn signal light among other things. Hopefully this solves your problem, little to no cost. Temp gauge....possible your temp sensor is going bad. Unfortunately starting in 06, the temp sensor changed locations. It's on the passenger side wayyyyy in the back on the block. Pretty difficult to get to.
