Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Looked under oil cap and there was thick yellow
sludge. No other problems. Just thick and yellow
kind of like banana pudding? Anyone have an
answer?

That is usually from condensation building up in the oil. It's usually from driving short trips in your car not allowing the engine to fully warm up. Go for a good 30min drive on the highway at least once a week. it should clear up. It also could be a clogged or restricted PCV valve or hoses, a head gasket problem, or the engine is running too cold due to a stuck open thermostat.

This is from moisture. Make sure you PCV is working properly and that the coolant level is not dropping. Short trips where the car never warms up will contribute to moisture build up in the engine.
