Just bought chrysler aspen 5.7 hemi and was showing 16 avg. mpg. First week it drove beautiful. A week later it suddenly dropped down to 12.6 avg. mpg why a sudden change with normal driving?

A higher Octane will give you better MPG. Also , sometimes they will put an additive in such as an Octane Booster just to sell you on the computer reading that the vehicle is getting good MPG at the time of the sale. Maybe you have a good old LEAD FOOT !!! Good Luck....

I just financed a Aspen Hemi,and I was putting 87 gas in it for two days,now my truck is knocking so the dealer told me I should be using 91 premium, does this cause my engine to fail this quickly

Mr Tennisshoes, I have another question, can you please tell me why my truck knocks at every stop sign or red light even if I just stop I have a 2008 Chrysler Aspen Hemi,i don't know what's wrong with it, I had my truck for a week.
