Chrysler town and country

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2008 Chrysler  (t & c) went a dealership
for a simple ignition recall switch out  But
came back to me jacked up.. when driven
over 30mph it redlines.. like it won't go in
gear,  engine seems like it's shaking. Also
seems to have no compression or very little
power. .  And now  my wipers wont stop
running even when I take the fuse out. Did
the mechanmechanic screw up? Another
mechanics said he might have the sensors
muxed up.. whats you guys verdict? ?  Plz
hlp.

Take it back to the dealer and have him make things right. Might be a tough conversation but stand your ground. Any reasonable dealership will work with you to get you back on the road again. Good Luck.

Sounds like a problem I had with my 2002 t&c. The transaxle solenoid module went bad and it forces it into second gear called limp mode. Module is about $150 plus labor...did it myself, it's not harder than a thermostat or ? Part swap out. Online videos...

You must have taken it to Vicksburg Chrysler in Michigan. Drove my 08 Patriot in towed it home. 1500 hundred cash later it ran again, without stalling. Dropped another grand, still can't drive it. Plus they put new pcm in it on there dime.
