How do I ge the flashers to stop flashing on my mini van?

Asked by crmart Jun 22, 2012 at 08:32 PM about the 2008 Chrysler Town & Country LX FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Yesterday while my van was sitting in the parking lot at work, the flashers came on.  I checked all the buttons and nothing would stop them.   My husband unhooked the battery but when he put the cable back on, they started flashing.  The only waty they stop flashing is when we unplug the battery cable.

There is a button on center of the dash panel with a red triangle on it. Push the button; it is a toggle-switch for off-on of the hazard lights.
