2008 water leak

I have 2008 got in my car from work drove 2 miles stopped at a friends house.
got back in drove 1 block and it overheated. stopped at a gas station and
water was leaking. looked to be leaking from the fan housing. I know that is
not where it really is. any ideas where it really is.
