Pontiac Torrent 2008 sputters during acceleration, check engine light blinks

Pontiac Torrent 2008 59000 miles During acceleration the engine light blinks, the power stutters. Especially prevalent during hard acceleration or climbing steep hill. The engine light sometimes stays on but usually turns off after engine shut down. I have not checked for codes. Tried pure gas, that didn't help Tried liquid injector cleaner, that didn't help. Please help.Thank you, JJ

Fuel issue when u see that. Normally. U can also try unplugging the mass air flow sensor and see if it drives better of the same... probably restricted fuel filter or a weak pump, or a restrictes exhaust
