When should I replace the timing belt on a 2008 solara? the car has 66,000 miles

I believe the recommended interval is 100k miles. If you want to change it out early you just waste a little money. You probably should not go more than 10 years on a belt regardless of mileage.

I would change it within the next couple of years even if it is under the recommended miles. Old timing belts are scary and coudl lead to very expensive repairs if they break.
