if OEM, your battery is ready for replacement AT five so 'tis time like it or not...also by now there is a measure of exchange of material in a blue spark which occurs when the lug and the chassis exchange 300 amps or more at this one spot~ so wirebrush the lug and spot till shiny...put 'em back together for renewed ground potential for the igntion, fuel pump and delicate ECM and TCM as well~ once the system ground has been restored as well as the full potential of the 13.5 volts with at least 400 amps provided for an extended period (like if your ignition got wet) crankin and crankin....the ole' battery would never have done that as the tin/antimony alloy batteries will stop accepting a charge ten percent per year~
