what will cause drivers side only-headlights to go out???

Asked by 57gofast Jan 16, 2014 at 09:53 PM about the 2008 Subaru Tribeca Limited 7 Passenger

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

we replace the lamps almost yearly-and would halogen lamps -direct fit and be more reliable   I do not think that just the lamps are the problem-is there another connection in the wiring harness that could be checked.

Check the grounds to each headlight. They should be on the body near the headlights. Loose or corroded grounds can cause a high resistance leading to shorter bulb life.
