Heaters/AC Fan Speed

Asked by Jun 12, 2011 at 03:06 PM about the 2008 Subaru Tribeca 5 Passenger

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I can not get the heat to go above 65 and the fan will only allow me to turn up the speed....I reset the battery and this got me to a start off point of 75, then when I tried to go up it went down, then when I tried to turn down the fan speed it also went up.....Any ideas what to do about this?  I have had a couple other under the dash problems as I am on my 3rd stereo but now I am out of warranty period...TIA

Well, to make a long story short, i also accidently left a window open a crack and a sideways storm blew through and got the interior wet. After a week or so of dry weather and the interior really drying out, all is fine?????????

According to several cross ref the Bosch 26A should fit Tribecas 2008 to 2012. But the hook on the wiper OEM arm is too wide to fit the slot on the Bosch. Any one else find the same?
