DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE THE SENSER IS THAT TELL IT IS IN PARK ON 08 CORVETTE BASE 6.2 ? MINE WHEN YOU PUT IN PARK AND SHUT IT DOWN IT STAYS IN ACC MODE AND SAYS SHIFT TO PARK AND RUNS BATTERY DOWN SIT
That would be the neutral safety/range selector switch. I believe it's on the transmission. HTH. -Jim
and the transmission is at the rear of the car bolted to the differential.
DO YOU THINK THE SHIFT CABLE IS CLOSE TO IT ?
After doing quite a bit of searching I am wondering if the switch is near the shifter. My Corvette had a manual so I am not all that familiar with automatics. I will post back if I find additional information. I did find a picture of the switch on www.autozone.com
IT SEEMS TO BE A LITTLE METAL SWITCH IN THE GEAR SHIFTER HOUSING.
