When you first turn on the key there should be a light that comes on then goes off that says ABS, usually they are yellow in color.

If your car is an 2008 Grand Prix you have abs. Most cars from 97 and up have abs. I know all Grand Prix's from 97-08 have ABS.

Not all Grand Prixs from 97-08 have ABS. I had an 06 Grand Prix with no ABS. it wasn't a mandatory requirement in the US until 2012. To check if your vehicle has ABS, the yellow ABS light will come up on the gauge cluster for a couple seconds when you key on.
