2008 Pontiac grand prix 3.8. got used rear tires, and several hours after they were put on the TPMS light came on it doesn't stay on but it will flash and after a time go off to only return in several miles. I have checked the tires and they are in good condition and the pressure is good.

Sensors might have been damaged by tire shop. They probably had a sign posted stating that they were not responsible for tire sensor damage.
