my girlfriend bought a 2008 pontiac grand prix about a month ago and there are some issues with the vehicle. When the car is started it will rev very high and will not start at times, there are messages that say service traction control, service abs system, and service tire pressure, sometimes on the road it will die suddenly but it does restart. the brakes struggle to work and there is a weird sound when the turning the car like a squeak.

The ABS and Traction Control systems are "connected" in that if there's a problem with one the other will be disabled. Most likely you have a bad ABS sensor which will require replacing one or more hub bearing assemblies. Could also be a bad connection at one of the ABS sensors. HTH. -Jim
