Where is the reset button for the check engine dash light. My car runs great just passed smog, changed transmission fluids, raditor flush, air filter, oil change , I just need to shut it off.

I just need to know the location and how to reset the check engine light.  My car runs perfect.  I just flushed the radiator, changed tranny fluid, oil change, now air filter.

there is no button. you have to hook up a code reader to shut it off. you can try autozone, they should do it for free.

There is no reset light. vehicles new than 1995 have to be connected to a computer diagnose what the check engine light is on for and to clear the codes on the PCM.

Remove the positive cable for about ten minutes,this will reset the ecm/engine light,if it return,s,you will have to have it scanned.

I have a 2015 hyundai sonata 2.0,it shut down on me after I left the stop light.can I try to reset it by taking the hot terminal off for 10 minutes..

My radio stopped working and I checked all fuses.... the display panel won’t show time or outside temperature or nothing... the model is PA760YF

Hi, I have Sonata 2013, radio went on me a few times. Both times I switched out the fuse and everything went back to normal. Was a few dollars at Autozone. Under $10 if I recall. Good Luck
