Why the "Check Engine Light" comes on when I turn the AC on?

Asked by MeandMyself Mar 21, 2015 at 06:45 AM about the 2008 Saturn VUE XE

Question type: General

Check engine light comes on once I turn the AC on and will stay on whenever the engine
is running unless I disconnect the battery cable and reconnect it. Even disconnecting and
reconnecting the negative battery cable solves it, it gets so tiring and bothersome. I would
like to know how to economically solve it permanently. Thank you all for any suggestions.
